The alert function allows you to set up a filter for real-time news story selection.  As in the query function you can use Boolean, fuzzy, and weighted logic to combine any number of word strings and symbols to narrow your search.  Complex and frequently used searches can be saved in Topics for individual or corporate-wide use.  Our NewsWizard simplifies the process of setting up searches.You can use any combination of word strings and stock symbols to hone your selection so that you get just the stories you are looking for.
